Folding Instructions
These instructions will help you fold up your printable greeting card and printable envelope. Follow the steps and you will have a awesome printable card in no time at all. Each greeting card and envelope is designed to fit on an standard 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper.
Open the printable greeting card and printable envelope in any PDF viewer and print.
Printable Greeting Card Folding
Once you have downloaded your printable greeting card package, you will need to print out the greeting card. After you have printed your printable greeting card, hold it up to match the cartoon illustration above. The greeting card is a quarter fold card which means that it will be in four different sections.
1 - Hold and look at flat printable greeting card. ( not too hard is it? )
2 - Fold the printable greeting card in half. ( breaking a sweat yet? )
3 - Fold the cartoon card in half once more. Your done!
Printable Envelope Folding
Print out the printable envelope file as you did with your greeting card. You will notice instructions on the paper that will also help. Keep in mind that anything that has print on it will be the outside of the envelope.
1 - Flip the paper over. Fold up the bottom half as shown above. This is roughly about 1.5 inches in from the bottom.
2 - Crease and fold in both the right and left sides.
3 - Fold the paper over in half.
4 - Turn the envelope over and crease the top flap.
5 - Insert your signed printable greeting card and seal with tape or glue. Your done!
Helpful Folding Tips
* Use your fingernail or another hard but smooth surface to get clean, crisp fold edges.
* Sticking out your tongue while fold actually makes for better results.
* Don't get frustrated! Practice on a blank piece of paper if needed.
